Kelly's best girls planned a festive champagne-filled evening to shower her with pretty "unmentionables." For her invitation, we used whimsical hand-lettered calligraphy and elegant type for an overall girlish, yet sophisticated feeling. These east coast gals were headed to Austin for the first time to celebrate Sarah's bachelorette party. With a weekend packed with fun activities, we pulled together a festive itinerary to get the girls pumped up for their Texas travels.

If you choose Tulum, Mexico for you wedding destination, chances are you're a down-to-earth, easy-going couple. Nan and Tim are definitely those people and wanted to keep their invitations clean and modern with hints of natural elements to maintain their vision of a laid-back wedding celebration. We used sage and pewter ink, minimal sans-serif typography and printed everything on 100% cotton paper. The pieces were then bundled with a simple brass paperclip and enclosed in a 6 x 8" sturdy kraft mailer with a belt label. Early last year I had the tasty pleasure of collaborating with Torchy's Tacos to create its staff orientation invitations. I'll go ahead and admit that research for this project involved at least two trailer park tacos. How could a then-pregnant woman deny a taco with fried chicken in it? Instead of doing something boring, like call a staff meeting or send out an email, Torchy's invited its staff (via snail mail) to a super rad orientation weekend.
