justine & thomas's gold and dusty blue nautical wedding invitations

Justine and Thomas were having a Long Island summer wedding, so we started off with a muted beachy palette - dusty blues, grays and gold foil. For the invitation we created a clean, nautical monogram that we could use on place cards, welcome itineraries and fun wedding day pieces. On the invitation, we did full gold foil for that extra wow factor!  We alternated between a clean, mid-century type and classic script that was just a little reminiscent of Wes Anderson's The Life Aquatic. Our dusty-blue envelope was lined with a graphic, yet neutral banana leaf liner - a fun way...

kristen + michael's gold, rose gold & blush wedding invitations

Kristen and Mike tied the knot in the seaside city of Galveston, Texas on the weekend before Valentine's Day. As we brainstormed for their suite, they wanted it to be luxurious, romantic, beachy, and not overly formal. Gold foil and mix-and-match textures were a top priority. The invitation was gold foil-stamped on double-ply Lettra paper and duplexed with a metallic rose gold paper to give it extra thickness and texture. While the calligraphy font brought a major femininity factor, we consciously opted for a heavier block text on other pieces to bring in more masculinity. I always call the reception...

tessa's final fiesta bachelorette itinerary invitation

Back to bachelorette fun times! For Tessa's "final fiesta" I created a margarita-inspired invitation with geometric shapes and bold pops of green, peach and black. The front was adorned with a real cocktail umbrella, and the back had all the fun details with a pull-out weekend itinerary in a tiny black envelope. Envelopes were bright green and addressed with bold, black brush lettering. I used a Pentel Color Brush Pen for the guests' names -- this pen has a huge ink tube that you squeeze into the brush, so it gives a very authentic painted look. I'm a fan-- and you can get it on Amazon....

blush + emerald modern boho baby shower invitations

This was my all-time favorite shower invite to create, which makes it fitting that it's for two dear friends who will unquestionably be fantastic parents. The hosts put together a jaw-dropping Pinterest board for inspiration and gave me free reign on the invitation. Emerald envelope, blush paper and glittery vellum with a copper brad gave this invitation a subtle layers and textures for the recipient to enjoy. I kept the text minimal and delicate to give the pink palm and glitter vellum some decent visibility. Actual cake from the shower (!!!). Every detail was impeccable, warm, and welcoming. Our friends Josephine and Yvette would be gangbusters in the party-planning biz....

taylor + mark's copper and chocolate fall wedding invitation

This wedding suite made me want to pull out cozy wool blankets and the spiked-apple cider right away! Taylor unabashedly loves orange which was a no-brainer to use for her fall wedding, and a not-so-secret tribute to her beloved Texas Longhorns. We ran with the  idea of using lots of copper, fall florals and romantic details for this black tie wedding.First impressions are important! The first thing guests would see when they opened the interior envelope was lined with a fall floral displaying sophisticated hues orange, wine, plum and forest green. True story: another client saw a sample of this...
