Stephanie and Kevin came to me looking for fresh, and playful invitations. We were inspired by their reception venue, The Mansion at Natirar, a magical 1905 estate in Somerset County, 40 miles west of New York City. The rolling green hills and moody rooms gave us our forest green and copper palette.
As a interior designer herself, Stephanie had a clear vision for hip and sophisticated aesthetic. A black-tie affair that was a fun as their amazing family and friends! We looked to clean lines, white space and a modern monogram to guide us through the suite.
Clean text offset with a cool mid-century script to break up the lines and created some flow. Topped with a geometric monogram - simple and chic! Not shown, the invitation was duplexed with forest green paper on the back, adding another layer of thickness and a wash of bold color. Copper envelope liner and foil printing details added some sparkle and glam to overall suite.
We're obsessed with how the copper foil shines on the green RSVP card. Could Ellsworth Kelly's South Ferry stamp be any more perfect? The USPS fairy was good to us this year!
Custom maps are just dreamy when they're printed in letterpress. Tiny details like the moon and stars come to life on the plush, cotton paper. For this map, we illustrated both St. Brigid Church and the Mansion at Natirar nestled among trees and highways in the New Jersey hills.
The party card! We brought back the copper foil for this festive reception card.
The packaging was carefully constructed to be a little off-kilter to utiltize our green envelope to frame the reception card. Double-bound by a waxed-cotton cord, the biased criss-cross was a subtle nod to our geometric monogram.
