Kristen and Mike tied the knot in the seaside city of Galveston, Texas on the weekend before Valentine's Day. As we brainstormed for their suite, they wanted it to be luxurious, romantic, beachy, and not overly formal. Gold foil and mix-and-match textures were a top priority. The invitation was gold foil-stamped on double-ply Lettra paper and duplexed with a metallic rose gold paper to give it extra thickness and texture. This was my all-time favorite shower invite to create, which makes it fitting that it's for two dear friends who will unquestionably be fantastic parents. The hosts put together a jaw-dropping Pinterest board for inspiration and gave me free reign on the invitation. Emerald envelope, blush paper and glittery vellum with a copper brad gave this invitation a subtle layers and textures for the recipient to enjoy. I kept the text minimal and delicate to give the pink palm and glitter vellum some decent visibility. Actual cake from the shower (!!!). Every detail was impeccable, warm, and welcoming. For Nina and David's wedding invitation suite, the couple wanted to mail something that felt relaxed, intriguing and welcoming to their guests. In order to honor the setting and season, a romantic outdoor summer wedding at the historic Cairnwood Estate near Philadelphia, we chose olive, blush and gold for the color palette with subtle visuals of olive branches. Ashley and Garret were planning the most fabulous wedding and reception at Brazos Hall in the heart of downtown Austin. Lately I've been attracted to small, understated pieces. This bride was looking for a light and airy Save the Date for her summer Aspen wedding, something chic and lovely. We quickly decided to create a blind letterpress impression of the Rocky Mountains' most famous peaks, and had the text letter-pressed with a barely there blush.
