Alexys & Matt were getting married in Lake Tahoe, California and wanted a rustic and elegant invitation to match their ceremony. We started with a rose gold foil invitation with a monogram and a few nautical lake details and a loose, romantic monogram. We found the perfect Lake Tahoe vintage post card that added the most beautiful hues of pink, blue and green that remind me of a foggy spring morning. The kraft envelopes were were calligraphed by Dionne of Nib & Pixel with white ink, and foil-stamped on the back with white foil. I loved all the light details for this...

This was a fun one to create (and ultimately style and photograph with the lovely Bri Costello). Lindy and Chris are an adorable LA couple with endless creativity -- they write, produce, act, model... you name it. A few months after they became engaged, they had a private wedding ceremony on the beautiful beaches of Malibu. With the blessing of the couple, the parents planned one fabulous Tex-Mex fiesta to honor the newlyweds in their home state. This bride was a dream client! An event planner, based in NYC, she had a good idea of what she wanted. Pretty, nautical-inspired invitations with a Maine moose sprinkled about. The moose is the magical beast of Maine's wildlife, and pretty close pronunciation of her new last name. How could we not? For the design, I embraced the geometrics of nautical flags throughout, steering clear of overdone anchors for a subtle nautical vibe. For the color palette, we started with crisp whites, and then sprinkled in sun-bleached ocean hues, kraft paper and touches of gold. Everything was bundled in kraft folder...

Alice and Eric are getting married in France (!!!) this week. With guests coming from afar to celebrate their love, the groom's family hosted a Méchoui welcome dinner at a country home near Bordeaux.
