mallary + clint's blue east coastal letterpress and gold foil wedding invitations

Check out this blue beauty! Mallary and Clint tied the knot in Mantoloking, New Jersey at a gorgeous 130-year-old church, followed by an outdoor reception at the Mantoloking Yacht Club. What says East Coast summer more than that? For the invitation, we paired a ocean blue letterpress with gold foil on 100% cotton paper. Their monogram was set in interlocking flags as a subtle nod to the nautical vibe -- and how fab does it look in gold foil? We selected a blue pattern liner of Mediterranean tile and Chinese ginger jars, which would be used at the reception. Favorite personal touch:...

katie + austin's romantic dusty blue and gold illustrated wedding invitations

Katie and Austin came to me looking romantic and elegant invitations for their Palm Springs wedding. We decided to use gold foil, dusty blue and cool gray for a romantic palette, and infused hand-illustrated elements into the suite to give it an organic touch. The invitation was a mix of dusty blue letterpress and gold foil, with hand-drawn floral illustrations and a delicate, gold-foil stamped wreath monogram. The map -- one of my favorite pieces, and a great place to inject some personality in your wedding suite. We included a little itinerary for the guests that listed the weekend events, as well...

molly + nik's letterpress marriage announcements

Molly and Nik planned to have a private ceremony for their nuptials, but they opted for some pretty paper to share the news. As a interior designer, Molly had the genius idea to use a botanical wallpaper for her envelope liners. She selected Zoffany's gorgeous Romy's Garden pattern in silver - with blooming cream peonies, playful insects and barely-blush sprigs of blooms, it was a super sweet homage to new beginnings. For the card, we used double-ply 100% cotton Lettra paper, letterpressed it with a green-toned black ink, and blind-embossed the couple's monogram at top center. I just love how crisp and clean these...

alice + henri's pink and green palm springs wedding invitations

Alice came to me loving my previous banana leaf print invitations, and we tweaked it with pops-of-pink for a full-on Palm Springs vibe. For the Save the Date, we did banana leaf border card that was die-cut with a cool mid-century shape and pink envelope liner. Simple, chic, and just a taste of what's to come for the invitation... The invitation itself was straightforward and luxurious, with a gold foil monogram and black letter-pressed text. The square shape made it dramatic and unique, and the banana leaf envelope liner brought some lush color to the suite. We brought in our...

ashley & garrett's gold, gray & blush letterpressed wedding invitations

Ashley and Garret were planning the most fabulous wedding and reception at Brazos Hall in the heart of downtown Austin. The turn-of-the century warehouse provided lots of inspiration for the invitations, as it's the quintessential example today's Austin, where old meets new with rustic wooden floors, exposed brick walls and sweeping rooftop views of the city.   For the invitation, we knew we wanted to capture the southern charm and incorporate modern aesthetics that make Austin unique. I started by hand-lettering their names to give the invitation a bold and playful look, and accented the rest of the text with...
