molly & kyle's historic philadelphia wedding invitations

This wedding was held in the heart of winter and a few days after the New Year, so I couldn't help but be influenced by bubbly champagne and festive confetti. Kyle and Molly met in college where they both played sports for the university and got married in the bride's hometown of Philadelphia. Since the church and reception venue were both more than 150 years old, we developed a classic design on the invitation suite and injected playful, modern touches to reflect the couple's energetic spirit. All of the invitation pieces were offset-printed with black ink and adorned with gold foil-stamped...

As Kelly and Michael were planning their wedding, they knew they wanted romantic Texas Hill Country affair with the slightest touch of rusticity. If Marie Antoinette were to tie the knot in Texas, this would be her invitation... For the invitation, we selected Crane's 100% cotton double-ply Lettra paper to achieve the best impression for letterpress printing and foil stamping. We used a dusty blue gray as the primary color, inspired by the muted tones of desert succulents and the bridesmaids dresses -- so chic! The rich copper foil balanced out the lightness of the blue and was a subtle wink to the...

Megan knew right off the bat she wanted charcoal gray and gold to be the main focus of her wedding invitations. I happily obliged, as it's one of my personal favorite neutral color combinations. The wedding itself would romantic and rustic, so we used Debi Sementelli's flirty Cantoni script to reflect that theme. We brightened up the suite with a rose patterned envelope liner printed on Neenah's Stardream paper. For custom wedding invitations, contact Charm & Fig.

If you choose Tulum, Mexico for you wedding destination, chances are you're a down-to-earth, easy-going couple. Nan and Tim are definitely those people and wanted to keep their invitations clean and modern with hints of natural elements to maintain their vision of a laid-back wedding celebration. We used sage and pewter ink, minimal sans-serif typography and printed everything on 100% cotton paper. The pieces were then bundled with a simple brass paperclip and enclosed in a 6 x 8" sturdy kraft mailer with a belt label. Belt labels are great because you can eliminate the hassle of printing or writing on envelopes and knock out...

I was honored to design an invitation and menu for my lovely friend's bridal shower dinner party earlier this month. Her bridesmaids put together a fabulous dinner party, complete with a six-course meal! We used black, white, gold, champagne with subtle blush accents, to match Sarah's wedding colors. I sprinkled in some custom calligraphy on the invitation, dinner menu, envelopes and place cards. I have to say, this is the way to go for intimate showers. All the guests got a chance to sit and actually talk -- tell stories, drink wine and catch up on everyone's lives -- so much better than...
