You guys. Temps have been reaching the low hundos this week and everyone in Houston is practically melting. I would do anything to be in the mountains right now, but being 36 weeks pregnant, travel is not in my near future. So instead, I'll just daydream I'm hiking in the mountains with my best friends and enjoying that cool mountain breeze. Yaaass I can! Back to bachelorette fun times! For Tessa's "final fiesta" I created a margarita-inspired invitation with geometric shapes and bold pops of green, peach and black. The front was adorned with a real cocktail umbrella, and the back had all the fun details with a pull-out weekend itinerary in a tiny black envelope. Envelopes were bright green and addressed with bold, black brush lettering. I used a Pentel Color Brush Pen for the guests' names -- this pen has a huge ink tube that you squeeze into the brush, so it gives a very authentic painted look.
