As Allison and Chuck were planning a black tie December wedding, we took a cue from the reception venue that was nestled along Houston’s Buffalo Bayou. We anchored the suite around a deep forest green to reflect the bayou’s lush backdrop of oak and pine trees on the water. The glimmers of copper were reminiscent of the city's lights reflecting on the water and embracing a holiday color scheme. The couple has an affinity for mid-century design (Palm Springs honeymoon!), so we incorporated the coolness and elegance of that era with typography and clean lines throughout the suite.
