Christina and Matt were planning a fabulous destination wedding in Key Largo, Florida at the Ocean Reef Club and wanted to create a chic, tropical but neutral wedding invitation suite. We started with a fabulous monogram that the bride created herself, fashioning it after her favorite Champagne label, Veueve Cliquot. I'll go ahead and have a glass, thank you. Packaging was important, as the bride works in advertising and loves branding (always a bonus). Katie and Austin came to me looking romantic and elegant invitations for their Palm Springs wedding. We decided to use gold foil, dusty blue and cool gray for a romantic palette, and infused hand-illustrated elements into the suite to give it an organic touch. The invitation was a mix of dusty blue letterpress and gold foil, with hand-drawn floral illustrations and a delicate, gold-foil stamped wreath monogram. This wedding suite made me want to pull out cozy wool blankets and the spiked-apple cider right away!
