Katie and Austin came to me looking romantic and elegant invitations for their Palm Springs wedding. We decided to use gold foil, dusty blue and cool gray for a romantic palette, and infused hand-illustrated elements into the suite to give it an organic touch.
The invitation was a mix of dusty blue letterpress and gold foil, with hand-drawn floral illustrations and a delicate, gold-foil stamped wreath monogram.
The map -- one of my favorite pieces, and a great place to inject some personality in your wedding suite. We included a little itinerary for the guests that listed the weekend events, as well as a playful map of the area. We highlighted the Coachella Festival grounds (Empire Polo Club), the wedding venue, airport and other Palm Springs icons.
Thanks to excellent planning of the bride and groom, we were able to get RSVPs for all of the weekend's events at once. It pays to plan ahead.
The invitation envelope featured custom calligraphy by Maureen Vickery of PenDance Studio. We were able to integrate the wedding monogram on the envelope flap -- so pretty in gold foil.
Inside the envelope the invitations were wrapped in vellum paper and sealed with a gold wax seal with the couple's initials. Obsessed!
