Working on this wedding invitation suite was a serious treat. Megan and Russ are great friends of ours and not a single minute of this felt like work. In fact, Megan's clear vision and creative trust really allowed me to create something timeless with unconventional details. Her wedding inspiration was Veuve Clicquot's Polo Classic, an iconic event known for its fresh flowers, trademark yellow, dappled with the springiest greens and pinks. As Kelly and Michael were planning their wedding, they knew they wanted romantic Texas Hill Country affair with the slightest touch of rusticity. If Marie Antoinette were to tie the knot in Texas, this would be her invitation... For the invitation, we selected Crane's 100% cotton double-ply Lettra paper to achieve the best impression for letterpress printing and foil stamping. Kennedy and Christopher were looking for classic Save the Dates with a little extra oomph. To give the cards a truly custom look, I mixed some hand-lettering with classic typography. Gold is still king! We had the design hot foil-stamped onto a textured Italian paper and framed out with Stardream's antique gold, with a matching liner to boot. Brianna and Max's San Antonio summer wedding invitations started with a dusty blue paper, Rifle Paper Co.'s emerald peony patter for envelope liners, and pops of green and pink to match. This couple met in college at Trinity University in San Antonio, so they definitely wanted to include a fun wedding map with all their favorite San Antonio hot spots.
