Lauren CovingtonWorking on this wedding invitation suite was a serious treat. Megan and Russ are great friends of ours and not a single minute of this felt like work. In fact, Megan's clear vision and creative trust really allowed me to create something timeless with unconventional details. Her wedding inspiration was Veuve Clicquot's Polo Classic, an iconic event known for its fresh flowers, trademark yellow, dappled with the springiest greens and pinks. We focused on white, black, "Veuve" yellow and embraced blind debossed elements to achieve negative space. In my opinion, nothing feels as luxurious as crisp white. Walls. Sheets. Paper! For the Save the Date, we wanted...

Lauren CovingtonHi! It's been more than six months since I've posted work on my blog. What happened? I had a baby and have been enjoying the life out of her and her big brother. It's been so good to take some time. I'm been quiet working on a few things, and am slowly photographing work that's been in my 'must share' box from the past 18 months. Since we're currently summer, I'll start with Adrienne and Christian's invitations from August 2017. This couple was amazing to work with... and so patient as we corresponded and collaborated from different time-zones, as the couple...

Lauren CovingtonAs Kelly and Michael were planning their wedding, they knew they wanted romantic Texas Hill Country affair with the slightest touch of rusticity. If Marie Antoinette were to tie the knot in Texas, this would be her invitation... For the invitation, we selected Crane's 100% cotton double-ply Lettra paper to achieve the best impression for letterpress printing and foil stamping. We used a dusty blue gray as the primary color, inspired by the muted tones of desert succulents and the bridesmaids dresses -- so chic! The rich copper foil balanced out the lightness of the blue and was a subtle wink to the...

Lauren CovingtonKennedy and Christopher were looking for classic Save the Dates with a little extra oomph. To give the cards a truly custom look, I mixed some hand-lettering with classic typography. Gold is still king! We had the design hot foil-stamped onto a textured Italian paper and framed out with Stardream's antique gold, with a matching liner to boot. Lauren CovingtonBrianna and Max's San Antonio summer wedding invitations started with a dusty blue paper, Rifle Paper Co.'s emerald peony patter for envelope liners, and pops of green and pink to match. This couple met in college at Trinity University in San Antonio, so they definitely wanted to include a fun wedding map with all their favorite San Antonio hot spots. For a little bit of glamor, we had their monogram foil-stamped onto the return address and at the top of the invitation. For custom wedding invitations, contact Charm & Fig.
