I was honored to design an invitation and menu for my lovely friend's bridal shower dinner party earlier this month. Her bridesmaids put together a fabulous dinner party, complete with a six-course meal! We used black, white, gold, champagne with subtle blush accents, to match Sarah's wedding colors. I sprinkled in some custom calligraphy on the invitation, dinner menu, envelopes and place cards. I have to say, this is the way to go for intimate showers. Mary's bachelorette party invitations were inspired by her laid back style, light breezy beaches and subtle quirky patterns. We wanted the invitation to look like Anthropologie was throwing a little party in the Hamptons -- I'd RSVP to that! The envelopes were lined with this gorgeous gold polka dot paper that was handmade in Nepal. Little boy birthday party -- what a nice change of pace! I was thrilled when Parker's mom commissioned me to create his woodland wonderland birthday party invitations. I got lost in researching all the woodland animals, but we finally settled on the cheerful owl and the friendly fox. The best part of this project? What's a better way to escape the NYC heat than a day by the pool? Gloria's bachelorette party had a day in the sun, followed by a night on the town -- complete with tacos and a psychic! We wanted these bachelorette party invitations suite to exude summer -- bright colors, modern typography and cheerful polka dots sprinkled throughout the invite. The splashy colors were offset with kraft envelopes and casual white calligraphy envelope addressing.
