Andrea and Matt's wedding invitations were such a special project to work on. I've known the Matt since we were tiny tots, and I had a small part in introducing him to his lovely bride, Andrea. While I can't take any credit for their undeniable chemistry and oh-so-fun wedding, I was lucky enough to work with them on their wedding invitations. We took a little inspiration from the wedding venue, the 1926-built Julia Ideson Building, which now serves as a public library in downtown Houston. Stephanie's bridesmaids were throwing her shower at the Crosby Hotel in New York, and she sent them my way for her invitations. With it's bright colors, and mix-and-match patterns and unique shapes we used the Crosby's funky interiors as inspiration. The invitations and inserts were digitally printed, featuring the bride's favorite florals, color blocking and a theme of blush and navy throughout. Little boy birthday party -- what a nice change of pace! I was thrilled when Parker's mom commissioned me to create his woodland wonderland birthday party invitations. I got lost in researching all the woodland animals, but we finally settled on the cheerful owl and the friendly fox. The best part of this project?
