Pancakes & Pajamas --literally two of my favorite things. When this project came to me, I was secretly annoyed that I hadn't been celebrating my birthday like this for the past 10 years. For the invitation, we knew we wanted it to be fun, welcoming and to feature the birthday boy himself. I illustrated a little pancake character and bunny slippers that were used throughout the party. Graham's mom Ashley, a former event planner, left no detail overlooked. She turned her home into Graham's House of Pancakes for his first birthday bash! One of our favorite little friends turned two this year. It seems like yesterday I was working on her baby shower invitations. At two years old, little miss Sydney is already a renaissance woman -- a dancer, artist, Houston Rockets fan, Thomas & Friends enthusiast and lover of hearts. We created a first-class ticket invitation with her favorite character and added some graphic details -- fun icons on the front, and pinstripes on the back made phrases celebrating the birthday girl. I'm very excited to share Dara and Paul's gold foil wedding invitation suite -- hands down one of my favorite wedding projects I worked on this year. We started a gold, blush and gray palette - adding a little bit of gold foil on a few of the pieces. I was honored to design an invitation and menu for my lovely friend's bridal shower dinner party earlier this month. Her bridesmaids put together a fabulous dinner party, complete with a six-course meal! We used black, white, gold, champagne with subtle blush accents, to match Sarah's wedding colors. I sprinkled in some custom calligraphy on the invitation, dinner menu, envelopes and place cards. I have to say, this is the way to go for intimate showers.
