My little brother Cameron graduated from the University of Texas at Austin last weekend. He didn't want to pay and arm and a leg for formal announcements, so I was thrilled when he came to me for a custom, affordable solution.
I used traditional wording, type and layout for the invitation but used the #10 size card to make it a little more interesting. I had these laser-printed on Crest solar white paper and backed by Stardream copper paper that comes pretty darn close to UT's signature burnt orange. For the mailing, I dug through my vintage stamp collection and pulled anything that touched on engineering ( his school ) or Texas culture.
Here's Cameron and my darling boy Charlie, representing UT hard through their apparel and accessories.
