When I first met with Kira and Trey, the top priority for the couple was to create a welcoming invitation that had hints of festive, tropical graphics and understated elegance for their four day celebration in the Mexican Riviera Maya. For the color palette, we steered clear of typical over-saturated “fiesta” colors, and selected natural, sunbleached colors accented by soft metallics. Alright, I've been sucked into Amazon Prime Day. A few of these items are my staples for work (brush pens, paintbrushes, notebooks), some are just fun for improving your home work space (oil diffuser!, and some are just plain cool (copper tape, major sale on the Cricut) Let me know if you've found anything neat that I've missed. I'm so late to share these invitations -- Lindsay and Michael were married a year ago today at a winery in Dripping Springs, Texas -- Happy Anniversary, Lightfoots!  It was such a pleasure to work with Lindsay and catch up on life; we go WAY back to elementary school and swim team -- Go Surfers :) For the invitations, we designed them to be romantic, with some rustic touches to pay homage to the Texas Hill Country. Tonia and Troy set out to have a fabulous black tie West Palm Beach wedding, so we pulled out all the stops with a full script invitation printed with navy letterpress gold foil stamping. We added super chic golden pineapples and flamingos, against a lush banana leaf print to give the formal invitation a touch of Southern Florida personality. Researching locations and prints for this wedding suite left me aching for a girls weekend in West Palm Beach. Insert all the tropical emojis... !!!! Justine and Thomas were having a Long Island summer wedding, so we started off with a muted beachy palette - dusty blues, grays and gold foil. For the invitation we created a clean, nautical monogram that we could use on place cards, welcome itineraries and fun wedding day pieces.
