Alexys & Matt were getting married in Lake Tahoe, California and wanted a rustic and elegant invitation to match their ceremony. We started with a rose gold foil invitation with a monogram and a few nautical lake details and a loose, romantic monogram. We found the perfect Lake Tahoe vintage post card that added the most beautiful hues of pink, blue and green that remind me of a foggy spring morning. This wedding was held in the heart of winter and a few days after the New Year, so I couldn't help but be influenced by bubbly champagne and festive confetti. Kyle and Molly met in college where they both played sports for the university and got married in the bride's hometown of Philadelphia. Since the church and reception venue were both more than 150 years old, we developed a classic design on the invitation suite and injected playful, modern touches to reflect the couple's energetic spirit. As Kelly and Michael were planning their wedding, they knew they wanted romantic Texas Hill Country affair with the slightest touch of rusticity. If Marie Antoinette were to tie the knot in Texas, this would be her invitation... I wanted to refresh my personal stash of thank you notes again. Check out last year's set here. So, naturally I decided to turn it into a product for the shop! I played around with the Tombow pen brush again, just doing an exaggeration of my own handwriting and then thickening the downstrokes. For me, the key to coming out with good letters is to not overthinking perfection too much.
