Charm & Fig — weddings

This bride was a dream client! An event planner, based in NYC, she had a good idea of what she wanted. Pretty, nautical-inspired invitations with a Maine moose sprinkled about. The moose is the magical beast of Maine's wildlife, and pretty close pronunciation of her new last name. How could we not? For the design, I embraced the geometrics of nautical flags throughout, steering clear of overdone anchors for a subtle nautical vibe. For the color palette, we started with crisp whites, and then sprinkled in sun-bleached ocean hues, kraft paper and touches of gold. Everything was bundled in kraft folder...

For Stef and Sam's Save the Date, we started with this adorable photo of the couple in Bar Harbor, Maine, where they would be tying the knot. Gold foil was a must for this bride, and a simple moose design was a fun nod to the groom's last name and to fauna of Maine. Brianna and Max's San Antonio summer wedding invitations started with a dusty blue paper, Rifle Paper Co.'s emerald peony patter for envelope liners, and pops of green and pink to match.  This couple met in college at Trinity University in San Antonio, so they definitely wanted to include a fun wedding map with all their favorite San Antonio hot spots.  For a little bit of glamor, we had their monogram foil-stamped onto the return address and at the top of the invitation. No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family.
