I'm so late to share these invitations -- Lindsay and Michael were married a year ago today at a winery in Dripping Springs, Texas -- Happy Anniversary, Lightfoots! It was such a pleasure to work with Lindsay and catch up on life; we go WAY back to elementary school and swim team -- Go Surfers :)
For the invitations, we designed them to be romantic, with some rustic touches to pay homage to the Texas Hill Country. One of the unique things about this invitation is the illustrated wildflowers. I drew them by hand just for Lindsay and we were able to sprinkle them throughout the suite to tie everything together.
Here's a close-up of the LM Monogram and wildflower border detail (plus a few "bunches of grapes" as a nod to the reception location, Duchman Family Winery). We added some patterned greenery with the envelope liner, again using our arsenal of wildflower illustrations.
