ashley & garrett's gold, gray & blush letterpressed wedding invitations

Ashley and Garret were planning the most fabulous wedding and reception at Brazos Hall in the heart of downtown Austin. The turn-of-the century warehouse provided lots of inspiration for the invitations, as it's the quintessential example today's Austin, where old meets new with rustic wooden floors, exposed brick walls and sweeping rooftop views of the city.   For the invitation, we knew we wanted to capture the southern charm and incorporate modern aesthetics that make Austin unique. I started by hand-lettering their names to give the invitation a bold and playful look, and accented the rest of the text with...

blush & blind letterpress save the dates featuring aspen's maroon bells

Lately I've been attracted to small, understated pieces. This bride was looking for a light and airy Save the Date for her summer Aspen wedding, something chic and lovely. We quickly decided to create a blind letterpress impression of the Rocky Mountains' most famous peaks, and had the text letter-pressed with a barely there blush. I love how they look paired with this powder green envelope. For custom Save the Dates, contact Charm & Fig.

kelly + mike's copper foil and dusty blue letterpress wedding invitations

katie & pete's new hampshire winter wedding

Katie and Pete were getting married in the charming town of Meredith, New Hampshire - a place that is special to their relationship in many ways. As a nod to the snowy season, we used a navy and icy blue palette that was easy on the eyes. The vintage postcard brought a pop-of-color with its orange sunset fading behind snow-capped trees. They wanted to share their favorite things about Meredith, so we created a wedding map with all of its best sights, as well as an itinerary for the wedding weekend that included a meet & greet gathering and a wedding...

kennedy & christopher's classic gold engraved wedding invitations

Kennedy came to me looking for wedding invitations that were classic and gorgeous with a few modern touches. I am so pleased how these turned out! We created a custom monogram with the bride and groom's first initials, and had it used throughout the suite - on the head of the invitation, on the inner envelope flap and on the dinner menus and ceremony programs. The mix of calligraphy and type blurred the lines between traditional and modern, giving the suite an updated look. For the printing method, we went with engraving - the most traditional handcrafted expression of announcements. The cotton...
