Stephanie's bridesmaids were throwing her shower at the Crosby Hotel in New York, and she sent them my way for her invitations. With it's bright colors, and mix-and-match patterns and unique shapes we used the Crosby's funky interiors as inspiration. The invitations and inserts were digitally printed, featuring the bride's favorite florals, color blocking and a theme of blush and navy throughout. What does the fox say? It says "YES, PLEASE" for this foxy, floral little number. Inspired by bohemian patterns and woodland animals, I kept the colors neutral and the foxes to maximum cuteness. This bride hails from New York City and was being honored by her best home town gals in Houston. For her bridal shower invite, we went with a romantic garden party theme that was feminine without being too soft.We started by mixing hand-lettered calligraphy and ultra-mod typography to find a balance between old and new. Then we peppered in unexpected blue florals, tiny black polka dots and tied it all together with a simple black border for a modern floral motif. We went botanical crazy for this Alice in Wonderland-inspired wedding shower invitation. Dara's sister Nora wanted a romantic, whimsical garden party feel, with a nod to Lewis Carroll's fantastical literary adventures. We knew a colorful floral liner was a must! Have spring fever? I love me some baby girls, baby girl. We pretty much got free reign on the project, with guidelines to use turquoise, poppy & pink (a fab color combo, if you ask me) and to make it kinda funky and girly. It has been extra special to design this baby shower invitation because we've gotten to know the mom-to-be a lot better throughout her pregnancy and are anxiously awaiting the baby's arrival! Sydney already has some pretty awesome parents.
