This bride was a dream client! An event planner, based in NYC, she had a good idea of what she wanted. Pretty, nautical-inspired invitations with a Maine moose sprinkled about. The moose is the magical beast of Maine's wildlife, and pretty close pronunciation of her new last name. How could we not? For the design, I embraced the geometrics of nautical flags throughout, steering clear of overdone anchors for a subtle nautical vibe. For the color palette, we started with crisp whites, and then sprinkled in sun-bleached ocean hues, kraft paper and touches of gold. Everything was bundled in kraft folder...

Brianna and Max's San Antonio summer wedding invitations started with a dusty blue paper, Rifle Paper Co.'s emerald peony patter for envelope liners, and pops of green and pink to match. This couple met in college at Trinity University in San Antonio, so they definitely wanted to include a fun wedding map with all their favorite San Antonio hot spots. One of our favorite little friends turned two this year. It seems like yesterday I was working on her baby shower invitations. At two years old, little miss Sydney is already a renaissance woman -- a dancer, artist, Houston Rockets fan, Thomas & Friends enthusiast and lover of hearts. We created a first-class ticket invitation with her favorite character and added some graphic details -- fun icons on the front, and pinstripes on the back made phrases celebrating the birthday girl. Mary's bachelorette party invitations were inspired by her laid back style, light breezy beaches and subtle quirky patterns. We wanted the invitation to look like Anthropologie was throwing a little party in the Hamptons -- I'd RSVP to that! The envelopes were lined with this gorgeous gold polka dot paper that was handmade in Nepal.
